Dechitsa Foundation

Children deprived from parental care are just like all other kids – joyful, positive and wonderful. They need individual attention and support to help them become responsible adults and productive members of our society. We strongly believe in the old saying: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.

Our Foundation is relying entirely on donations from our corporate and individual supporters.   

Regular donations are very important to us regardless of the amount, because it allows us to better plan our reoccurring activities. 

We also rely on our dedicated volunteers, both for our mentor program and for support with the logistics of our events and reoccurring activities.

Every year we take part in both publicly and privately funded projects. We work with the younger children in groups depending on their needs and take a more individual approach for the older ones to help prepare them for what’s expecting them in the real world.

We have our own space in which we organize all activities. We call it our little “Club” and people just come and do not want to leave J We invite you all to come and experience it for yourselves.
